I strongly believe that social workers thrive in environments where they feel supported, herald and safe to learn through experience-including making mistakes. Drawing from a range of supervision experiences and training, both clinical and non-clinical, I have developed an approach that integrates reflective and clinical supervision.
These skills also provide me with a lens to support and consult on complex cases involving issues of child welfare, incarceration and/or the legal system. My background includes extensive training in trauma informed care, child brain development, forensic interviewing, and the reflective supervision and practice. I have worked with youth and families across all stages of the child welfare continuum, from prevention through adoption, into adulthood.
Consultation Services
I provide case consultation, specifically cases where there is child welfare involvement or risk of youth entering the system. This could look like Family Assessments, court testimony, or case related consultation.
Initially, we can review possible conflict of interests, preliminary discussions of the goals of the engagement and timeframes and deliverables, such as reports or assessments. I can conduct in home or in community visits with families or individuals as part of this work.
Clinical Supervision
I provide clinical supervision that meets the criteria for hours towards clinical licensure. These sessions will be virtual, 1 -hour sessions on a schedule that works for both of us, generally evenings and/or weekends. This space will be your to explore the development of professional skills, values and acumen.
